Peace Building And Security

Our Peace building work focuses on reducing and ending violent conflicts by entrenching and promoting a culture of peace in our society, amongst many of activities that are carried out by CS-CRIN under its various programs include collaboration with security agencies, particularly the Nigeria Police Force by mainstreaming about 150 Community Peace Advocates to be active member of Community Policing Team in their localities. These Peace Advocates are been trained under EU-ACT sponsored project in Nigeria titled “Strengthening Community Engagement Towards Peace building and Conflict Management in Kano State, Nigeria”, a project implemented by CS-CRIN in Kano state, Nigeria.

CS-CRIN Peace Building activities also includes Peace Building and Non-Violent Education in schools and public places for effective and efficient inter- community relationship for development.
