Migration And Trafficking In Persons (MTIP)

Human trafficking is a dynamic, new and emerging crime in the society; these trends involve a number of human rights abuses, such as slavery, torture, arbitrary detention, inhumane and degrading treatment and many more. We work with other relevant authority to protect children from abuse, exploitation, trafficking and violence by creating platforms for community enlightenment and engagement towards reducing and putting a stop to human Trafficking and promotion of regular and safe migration. We provide support to victims of Trafficking and Assisted Voluntary Returned Migrants through the provision of Psycho-Social Supports, Education in Emergency, Return, Re-admission and Resettlement (RRR) Programs, Livelihood and Household Economic Empowerment.

Currently, CS-CRIN is the process of building Shelters for victims Human Trafficking and Irregular migrants in Kano State.
