Civil Society Organisation for Conflict Resolution in Nigeria (CS-CRIN) is a non-Governmental, non-Partisan and a not-for-Profit Organisation founded in 2015 and registered with CAC in 2018.

The Organisation is working to promote Peace and Justice, Democracy, Good Governance, Human Rights, Women and Youth Empowerment. We Advocate for Peaceful co-existence and safe environment that is free from Violent Conflicts and Mass Atrocities with Civic and Community Engagement programs. The Organisation has presence in Kano, FCT-Abuja and Kogi state.

(CS-CRIN) engages and work with Communities, Local and National authorities; Youth and Women groups, traditional/religious leaders, other Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), Community Based Organisations (CBOs), Community Development Associations (CDAs), Business Membership Organisations (BMOs), Faith Based Organisation (FBOs), and also work with relevant  Federal/ State Ministries  and Commissions to play effective roles in the Management, Prevention, Mitigation and Resolution of disputes stemming from Farmers-Herders, Host Community-Investors, Inter-Communal, Inter-Governmental and Inter-Religious Conflicts in Nigeria with the aim to build Community Trust and Understanding.

CS-CRIN conduct its activities and  partner with Government at all levels, Traditional Institutions, Policy Makers, Foreign & local Investors, Embassies, other CSOs and Community members for the prevention and resolution of Conflict and disputes through  Dialogue, Mediation, Negotiation, Advocacy, Trainings, Seminars and workshops, Town Hall Meetings, Citizens/Public Sensitization & Awareness Creation, Policy Dialogue on ease of doing business, promotion of Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) and  Post-Conflict Livelihood training programs for women & youth affected during conflicts.

Our Core Mandate

To build capacity and enhance the skills of Non-governmental Organizations, Community Based Organizations, Community Development Association, Youth Groups, Women Groups, Traditional/Religious leaders, Faith Based Organization to play effective roles in the Prevention, Mitigation, Resolution and Management of Conflicts and Disputes.

To help prevent conflicts and attacks on investors and investment in their community of operations and to engage them for the promotion of Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) in their host Communities of operation for Socio-Economic, Human and Community Development.

To advocate for enabling environment, good policies and provide platforms for awareness creation for the Prevention and Management of Conflicts through Peace building and Non-Violent Education in schools and public places for effective and efficient inter- community relationship for development.
